The SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (BHDD) seeks a Mental Health Professional I for School Mental Health Services in Oconee County. This role provides case management and counseling for children, adolescents, and families in designated school settings, under general supervision.

Responsibilities include counseling, consultation with school staff, documentation per CARF standards, and coordination of services within the agency and community.

Formación

• Master's degree in guidance, counseling, or the social sciences or a related field.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in SC; willing to pursue licensure within six months if unlicensed.
• Clinical experience providing direct patient care and ability to credential for core services.

Responsabilidades

• Provide mental health treatment case management and counseling to CAF population at designated school settings.
• Provide mental health consultation to school personnel and facilitate entry into services.
• Complete and maintain patient records per CARF standards and agency policies.
• Coordinate services within the agency and in the community.
• Participate in required in-service training and continuing education.
