Job summary

SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (BHDD) is seeking a Mental Health Professional I for School Mental Health Services in District 4 (Anderson). The role provides case management and counseling to children, adolescents, and families in a designated school setting under the Anderson-Oconee-Pickens Mental Health Center.

You will support coordination of services, maintain CARF-standard records, and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in guidance, counseling, or the social sciences or a related field.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in SC; willing to pursue licensure within six months if unlicensed.
• Clinical experience providing direct patient care (practicum, internship, or post-graduate).

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health treatment case management and counseling at designated school settings.
• Provide mental health consultation to school personnel and facilitate entry into services.
• Complete and maintain patient records per CARF standards and agency policies.
• Coordinate services within the agency and with community partners.
• Participate in required in-service training and continuing education.
