SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (BHDD) seeks a Mental Health Professional I for School Mental Health Services in Oconee County. Provide case management and counseling to children and families in designated school settings under supervision.

Candidates must have a Master’s degree in guidance, counseling, or social sciences and be licensed or eligible for SC licensure. Bilingual abilities are a plus; position is essential and may require travel across locations.

Qualifications

• Masters’ degree or higher in guidance, counseling, or the social sciences or a related field.

Responsabilités

• Provide mental health treatment case management and counseling services to the CAF population at designated school settings.
• Provide mental health consultation to school personnel regarding AOP-MHC patients and facilitate entry into mental health services as indicated.
• Complete and maintain patient records timely and accurately per CARF standards and agency policies.
• Coordinate services within the agency and with the broader community to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in required in-service training and continuing education.
