Job summary

RTI International is seeking part-time Survey Administrators for a school-based, computerized study under the National Youth Risk Behavior Study (YRBS). You will administer surveys in classrooms, coordinate with school personnel, and follow up on make-up dates.

The role requires travel to multiple locations and supervision of equipment while ensuring data quality. Training and occasional overnight travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Clear communication abilities and active listening.
• English reading, writing, and speaking fluency.
• Available for training and data collection period.
• Willingness to travel to assigned schools and work in various weather conditions.
• Valid US driver’s license and access to a personal car for business use.
• Comfort with RTI issued tablet and other equipment.
• Access to password-protected WiFi for data transmission.
• Ability to maintain project confidentiality.
• Capable of early morning shifts and occasional overnight travel.
• Ability to handle equipment safely and transport it as needed.

Responsibilities

• Travel to selected locations to administer surveys or assessments.
• Interact with participants and school staff to facilitate participation.
• Follow up with schools to schedule make-up sessions and ensure data accuracy.
• Coordinate with team via calls and email; attend meetings as required.
• Maintain equipment and submit Time and Expense reports promptly.
• Work in classroom settings and manage logistics for survey days.
