Job summary

RTI International is seeking part-time Survey Administrators to conduct school-based surveys and assessments for the National Youth Risk Behavior Study. The role requires travel to multiple locations, managing consent, and coordinating with school staff.

Compensation is $24 per hour with an average of 20 hours per week during data collection through June 2027. This temporary position emphasizes fieldwork, reporting, and use of RTI-issued equipment in diverse weather conditions, including

Qualifications

• Effective communication in speech and listening.
• Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking.
• Available for the entire training and data collection period.
• Valid US driver's license and reliable personal automobile for business use.
• Willingness to travel to field locations and use RTI-issued equipment.
• Comfortable operating a tablet and laptop provided by RTI.

Responsibilities

• Travel frequently to selected locations to administer surveys or assessments.
• Interact with study participants and discuss the study to obtain participation.
• Coordinate with schools for scheduling and make-up sessions.
• Monitor and ensure survey logistics with school staff.
• Track parental consent and student eligibility for participation.
• Complete required trainings andTime and Expense reports.
• Safely handle and care for project equipment.
• Attend virtual project team meetings.
