Job summary

Merakey seeks a School Based Behavior Health Technician to provide 1:1 direct services in family homes, schools, and community settings using evidence-based treatments. You will have the opportunity to apply individualized treatment while building strong relationships with children and their families.

You will report to a Therapist, participate in required trainings, and maintain progress notes. The role offers flexible hours including evenings and weekends, supporting families in need across

Qualifications

• Required: bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related discipline.
• Experience with family systems and with children and families in a clinical setting preferred.
• Must hold a valid Pennsylvania driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Implements a behavior modification intervention plan developed with family, school and Therapist.
• Intervenes as needed when the child exhibits problem behaviors.
• Maintains progress notes and reports to Therapist daily.
• Attends training as required.
• Provides family-focused treatment services and education to enable active family involvement.
• Maintains regular communication with families, schools, physicians and other service providers.
