Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Behavior Technician to join our team in Ellsworth, PA, where you will work one-on-one in our school setting with autistic and emotional support students. You will follow each child’s IEP and PBSP to help them reach academic and behavioral goals in a trauma-informed environment.

This role involves data collection, implementing behavioral plans, and collaboration with families and the team. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule and pay of $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required.
• Availability to work full day 8:15 am - 3:15 pm Monday – Friday.
• 3–6 months of experience with people with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Experience with children with autism preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete timely ongoing data collection and documentation.
• Provide behavioral and physical interventions as needed.
• Monitor client performance and record progress.
• Assist client with activities of daily living including toileting and grooming.
• Collaborate with families and team for continuity of care.
• Implement and follow client behavior plans and reinforcement systems.
• Complete required trainings as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
