Job summary

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to provide individualized mental health support to children and adolescents in homes, schools, and community environments. You will work with families and clinical teams to apply evidence-based interventions and track progress.

Supervised by a Qualified Mental Health Professional, you will help clients develop coping skills, improve daily functioning, and reach personal goals with flexible hours and a team-driven approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 40+ hours of training, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of behavioral health services experience.
• Behavioral Health Certification or equivalent from an accredited org.
• RBT certification is acceptable or preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; EHR experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, evidence-based mental health interventions to youth in homes, schools, and community settings.
• Work under supervision of a Qualified Mental Health Professional and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Implement treatment goals and sound clinical interventions to support functioning in the least restrictive setting.
• Offer flexible hours and maintain reliable, consistent participation in clients' schedules.
