Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Behavior Health Technician to join our team in Williamsport, PA. The role provides one-on-one behavioral health interventions to children and adolescents in home, school, or community settings, applying treatment plans developed by a senior team member.

The ideal candidate will have a GED or high school diploma, reliable transportation, and ideally 2 years of behavioral health experience along with 40-hour RBT training; Merakey values diversity and equal opportunity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Preferred: 2 years' experience providing behavioral health services.
• Preferred: Completed 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training course.
• Preferred: College coursework in mental health or related field.

Responsibilities

• Implements a behavior modification treatment plan targeting recommendations from the psychological evaluation and developed by a senior level team member.
• Works one-on-one with client(s).
• Collaborates with all members of the treatment team and professionals working in home or community settings, including the family.
• Documents behavioral and program data during session; Maintains progress notes for every billable contact or per regulatory and program requirements.
• Submits payroll weekly or as directed by supervisor; includes county-specific paperwork.
• Receives scheduled supervision from an assigned clinical supervisor.
• Attends training as required; Attains required training hours per fiscal year.
• Performs other related duties as required.
