Job summary

OhioGuidestone is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist to provide case management for children and families with mental health and substance use diagnoses. Services may be via telehealth or in offices and community settings.

You will collaborate with supervisors, clinicians and families, coordinating resources to ensure continuity of care and timely interventions. A flexible schedule and strong documentation practices are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and no less than basic behavioral health skills.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to engage clients and families.
• Flexibility to work days/evenings/weekends; comfortable with various settings.
• Proficiency with Windows, MS Office and electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management to children and families with mental health or substance use needs.
• Coordinate resources across schools, referrals and outpatient providers.
• Monitor symptoms and treatment response; communicate with the treatment team.
• Maintain documentation and participate in supervision and meetings.
