Job summary

OhioGuidestone is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist to provide case management for children and families with mental health and substance use diagnoses. Services may be via telehealth, outpatient offices, or community settings. The role requires coordination with treatment teams and community resources.

The position supports a Saturday-Sunday shift from 7am-3pm, on-site, part-time, with a focus on maintaining care continuity and client advocacy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years relevant experience and competencies in basic behavioral health skills.
• Relevant experience or coursework in behavioral healthcare helpful.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate OhioGuidestone values with excellence and ethics.
• Monitor client symptoms and response to treatment; communicate with the treatment team.
• Develop and maintain service relationships with client, family, and caregivers.
• Coordinate community resources to ensure continuity of care; advocate for the client as needed.
• Provide crisis intervention during emergencies and coordinate crisis management.
