Qualifications

• Experience with mental health/drug and alcohol, and/or crisis intervention services preferred.
• Maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe space for the expression of anxieties.
• Develop and support the activities for the Group.
• Monitor the suitability of the premises for the purpose of the group.

Skills

Good facilitation skills

Knowledge and understanding of mental health and substance use/abuse issues

Good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to deal appropriately and professionally with possible crises
