Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health is seeking a School Based Support Specialist to deliver intensive outpatient case management for youth in school settings. You will support students in school, home, and community environments, coordinating care with schools, families, and partners to promote recovery and academic achievement.

The role requires strong communication, crisis intervention skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in behavioral health or related field as one path to eligibility.
• Experience in case management, school/community settings, or recovery-focused services.
• Ability to work with youth, families, schools, and providers within ethical guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive outpatient case management in school-based settings.
• Coordinate care with schools, families, and external providers.
• Deliver crisis intervention and follow-up for missed appointments.
• Conduct home visits and family outreach as needed.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation and quality assurance activities.
