Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health seeks a School Based Support Specialist to serve students at school sites, with some home and community involvement. You will implement individualized interventions, support academic and social goals, and coordinate with schools and families to promote recovery and resilience.

The role focuses on delivering direct interventions aligned with treatment plans, during school hours, with additional outreach as needed to ensure student engagement and success.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the listed education paths with related behavioral health experience.
• Experience delivering one-on-one or group services focused on recovery/resiliency.
• Ability to coordinate care with schools, families, and providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health interventions in school-based settings.
• Support coping strategies and social-emotional functioning.
• Coordinate care with schools, families, and community providers.
• Manage caseload with timely documentation and person-centered services.
• Provide crisis intervention and follow-up, including outreach for missed appointments.
• Conduct home visits as needed to engage youth and family.
