Job summary

BBH Burrell Behavioral Health seeks a School Based Support Specialist to deliver intensive outpatient case management for youth in a school setting. You will coordinate care with schools, families, and providers, delivering direct interventions aligned with treatment plans to promote recovery and academic success.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, home visits when needed, and ensuring timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, behavioral health, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in behavioral health settings and care coordination with schools and families.
• Knowledge of ethics, legal standards, and privacy in behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based behavioral health interventions aligned with treatment goals.
• Support coping and social-emotional skills for students in school settings.
• Coordinate care with schools, families, and providers; manage caseloads.
• Document timely and effective services; ensure quality care.
• Deliver crisis intervention and outreach for missed appointments.
• Conduct home visits as needed to support engagement.
• Assist with data collection, QA activities, and compliance.
