Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health is seeking a School-Based Support Specialist to deliver intensive outpatient case management for youth in a school setting, coordinating with families, schools, and community providers. This role supports students’ success in school, home, and community during school hours with occasional home/community outreach.

You will implement individualized interventions, monitor progress, and help students develop coping, social-emotional skills, and academic achievement,

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the listed degree/experience combos for behavioral health.
• Experience delivering one-on-one or group services with focus on recovery.
• Ability to implement treatment plan objectives with youth and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health interventions in school-based settings.
• Support development of coping strategies, social-emotional functioning, daily living skills.
• Coordinate care with schools, families, community partners and providers.
• Manage a caseload with timely documentation and person-centered services.
• Provide crisis intervention and outreach for missed appointments.
• Conduct home visits and outreach as needed to engage youth and families.
• Support quality assurance, data collection, and compliance with protocols.
• Participate in staff development, supervision, and evaluations.
