Job summary

Synergy Services is seeking a Behavior Support Implementer for its School Based Integrated Services program in the Liberty School District. The role focuses on modeling and implementing BIP plans, providing one-on-one behavioral support, and coaching school staff and families to support trauma-informed care for students in a general education setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, behavior plans, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Model and implement behavior intervention plans (BIP) for students throughout the day.
• Provide crisis management when emotional/behavioral dysregulation occurs.
• Coach school staff on trauma-informed care and student plans.
• Engage with families and coordinate with district staff and BCBA for updates.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data collection for student progress and program outcomes.
• Collaborate with other SBIS/BSI staff and participate in team meetings and professional development.
• Assist with supervision of interns and support other employees as needed.
• Ensure compliance with IDEA and district policies.
