You will implement positive behavioral interventions, monitor progress, and document incidents as part of a multidisciplinary team. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma (bachelor’s degree preferred) and experience in educational settings with behavioral interventions.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing behavioural interventions for students with intensive needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and leaders to support students with intensive behavioral needs.
• Provide consistent monitoring and support throughout the school site.
• Support the creation and implementation of behavior support plans.
• Record, track, and document behavioral incidents and progress toward goals.
• Utilize positive behavioral intervention and school site incentive programs.
• Implement de-escalation techniques, crisis management, and physical intervention if necessary.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment developing social/behavioral skills.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop differentiated support.
• Participate in debriefing with staff after challenging situations.
• Facilitate communication with parents.
