Family of Kidz is seeking a Behavior Consultant/BCBA on Eastern Long Island, NY. The role involves partnering with schools, families, and professionals to implement evidence-based behavioral supports; conducting FBAs; and developing BIPs aligned with educational goals.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in ABA with NYS BCBA/BCABA or LBA credentials, and have at least 1 year of relevant experience. This position offers part-time or full-time hours with comprehensive benefits and professional

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA or related field is required.
• NYS BCBA, NYS BCABA, or LBA certification is required or pending.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in supporting children with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with school administrators, teachers, and families to develop individualized, evidence-based behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and collaborate to identify function of behavior and develop interventions.
• Design, implement, and monitor BIPs aligned with student needs and goals.
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to evaluate progress and adjust interventions.
• Travel between assigned school districts to provide on-site consultation.
