Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Behavior Consultant / BCBA in Suffolk County, NY. The position offers part-time or full-time opportunities with fee-for-service or annual compensation options, ranging $40–$75/hour or $58,500–$75,000 per year.

Responsibilities include developing behavioral supports, conducting FBAs, and collaborating with school personnel and families. Qualifications include a Master’s in ABA, NYS BCBA/BCABA or LBA, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA or related field.
• NYs BCBA/BCABA or LBA certification required.
• Minimum 1 year experience supporting children and families.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized, evidence-based behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and identify function of behavior with teams.
• Design, implement, and monitor BIPs aligned with goals.
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to guide interventions.
• Travel between school districts for on-site consultation.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA/FERPA and policies.
