Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Behavior Consultant/BCBA in Suffolk County, NY to partner with schools and families to design and implement evidence-based behavioral supports. The role involves FBAs, BIPs, data analysis, and coaching staff to ensure effective intervention delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have NYS Driver’s License and proof of insurance.
• Master’s degree in ABA, Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
• NYS BCBA/BCABA/LBA certification required or eligible.
• Minimum of 1 year experience supporting children and families.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized, evidence-based behavioral supports in collaboration with school teams and families.
• Conduct FBAs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify functions of behavior and design interventions.
• Create, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans aligned with student needs and goals.
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to assess progress and adjust interventions.
• Provide coaching and training to classroom staff for consistent program delivery.
• Support IEPs and CSE meetings with progress updates and recommendations.
• Maintain HIPAA/FERPA compliance and handle confidential information.
