Job summary

Family of Kidz on Eastern Long Island, NY seeks a Part-Time or FT Behavior Consultant / BCBA to develop and supervise evidence-based behavioral supports in schools. The role involves FBAs, BIPs, data-driven decision making, and staff coaching.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in ABA, NYS BCBA/BCABA or LBA, and a NYS driver’s license. Experience with IEPs and CSE is preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA or related field.
• BCBA/BCABA or Licensed Behavior Analyst credentials.
• Experience supporting children and families in behavior programs.
• Driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with school staff and families to develop individualized behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and collaborate with teams to identify function of behavior.
• Design and monitor BIPs aligned with educational goals.
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate progress and adjust interventions.
• Provide coaching and feedback to classroom staff on behavior strategies.
• Prepare IEP-aligned behavioral programming and attend CSE meetings.
• Maintain confidential documentation per HIPAA/FERPA.
