Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Behavior Consultant/BCBA in Suffolk County, NY. The role can be part-time or full-time, with compensation ranging from hourly to annual equivalents depending on the arrangement and caseload.

The position includes collaboration with schools, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based behavioral supports. The role requires NYS BCBA/BCABA or LBA certification and a Master’s degree; travel between districts is expected to provide on-site

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA, Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
• License/certifications: NYS BCBA/BCABA or LBA.
• Driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with school staff and families to develop individualized behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and develop effective intervention strategies.
• Design, implement, and monitor Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate progress and inform adjustments.
• Provide coaching and staff trainings on behavior management.
• Travel between school districts to provide on-site consultation.
• Maintain HIPAA/FERPA compliance and thorough documentation.
