Job summary

Aspire Educational Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated School-Based Behavior Consultant to conduct functional behavior assessments, develop and implement behavior intervention plans, and support ASD students within the school environment.

The role emphasizes training school staff, data-driven progress monitoring, and collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families while ensuring compliance with IDEA and FERPA.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavior analysis or related field required.
• BCBA certification or PA Licensed Behavior Specialist preferred.
• Experience conducting FBA and developing BIP in school settings.
• Knowledge of ABA principles and data-driven decision making.
• Experience with data collection software and behavior tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify functions of behaviors.
• Design individualized behavior intervention plans tailored to each student.
• Apply ABA strategies to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Collect and analyze behavior data to monitor progress and adapt interventions.
• Train and support school staff on behavior management techniques.
• Participate in IEP/Manifestation and related meetings to share expertise on behavior goals and progress.
• Ensure compliance with IDEA and FERPA in educational settings.
