Job summary

Onward Education is seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our school-based team in Litchfield County, Connecticut. The BCBA will design and implement evidence-based behavior intervention programs to support students with behavioral, social-emotional, and developmental needs, collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA certification required.
• Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, Education, or related field.
• Experience conducting FBAs and developing/implementing BIPs.
• Strong understanding of ABA principles and evidence-based practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Previous school-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify functions of challenging behaviors.
• Develop and implement Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on assessments.
• Provide training and support to teachers and school staff.
• Collect and monitor behavioral data and adjust interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with school team and families; participate in IEP meetings.
• Support PBIS implementation and create positive learning environments.
