Job summary

TEEMA is seeking a compassionate and collaborative BCBA to join a school-based contract in Moreno Valley, CA. This role focuses on supporting implementation, training, modeling, and oversight of RBTs rather than conducting FBAs or writing BIPs.

The BCBA will work with teachers, SLPs, OTs, and administrators to promote positive behavioral outcomes for students with autism and other developmental needs, supporting IEPs and ensuring ethically-based, data-driven practices.

Qualifications

• Must have BCBA certification with BACB.
• Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Ed, or related field.
• Experience in a school-based setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, modeling, and guidance to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
• Support teachers with the effective implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Develop and oversee data collection systems and visual supports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams (SLPs, OTs, teachers, principals, etc.).
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input related to student behavioral needs.
• Ensure behavioral supports align with ethical, evidence-based practices.
• Maintain professional documentation and communication as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
