Job summary

TrulyHired seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavior analysis services and intervention planning for students with behavioral challenges. The role includes developing and implementing behavior plans, training ESCEO staff, and collaborating with district teams to optimize programs in a school setting.

The BCBA will conduct functional assessments, contribute to evaluation reports, and maintain data-driven practices while aligning with district policies.

Qualifications

• Hold a current, valid BCBA certificate from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
• COBA certificate issued under §4783.04 ORC.
• Demonstrates ability to foster positive relations with staff, students, and families.
• Proficient with computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Alternatives to above as approved by the Governing Board.

Responsibilities

• Supports multi‑tiered systems of support; assists RTI and PBIS teams and educators in implementing strategies.
• Demonstrates knowledge of child development and behavior management across disabilities.
• Conducts Functional Behavior Assessments for students with behavior concerns.
• Contributes to written evaluation reports and recommendations for behavior plans.
• Communicates results to educational teams, parents, and community partners.
• Collaborates with district teams to develop/modify BCBA programming.
• Creates ongoing data collection to establish baseline and measure program efficacy.
• Consults with staff and parents on behavior matters.
• Completes documentation for ESCEO and districts, including Medicaid/workload records.
• Functions as a team member to promote ESCEO policies and procedures.
• Assists with crisis intervention as needed and requested by supervisors.
• Attends staff and interagency meetings to improve skills and serve as a resource.
• Keeps current with literature and participates in continuing education to maintain BCBA certification.
• Performs any other duties assigned by the Superintendent.
