Job summary

BHA Academy is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) to lead behavioral programming aligned with students’ IEPs. You will coach staff, model compassionate leadership, and drive data-based decision making within a safety-sensitive setting.

This role requires active BCBA certification and Missouri LBA license, with experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in educational settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or related field.
• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification and Missouri LBA license.
• Completion of BACB-approved 8-hour supervision training.
• Minimum 2 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral disorders (school experience strongly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead ABA-based supports and interventions aligned with each student’s IEP.
• Coach staff and ensure fidelity of implementation across environments.
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop proactive strategies.
• Participate in IEP meetings, family consultations, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with BACB, DESE, and BHA standards.
