Job summary

Behavioral Emotional and Academic Mentoring LLC in California is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to design, implement, and evaluate behavior analysis interventions for individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health disorders, and other behavioral challenges.

The BCBA will lead a team of paraeducators and other professionals in providing high-quality care tailored to each client’s needs and goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavior analysis or related field.
• Current BCBA certification and ability to supervise aides.
• Experience with developmental disabilities and behavioral interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in ABA.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with district partners to communicate behavior plans and ensure understanding among BEAM staff.
• Promote staff and community relationships in the best interest of students and BEAM partners.
• Conference with staff and community partners on student adjustment issues.
• Assist programs in curriculum development, implementation, and behavioral programming.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting specific behaviors.
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust plans.
• Provide leadership to a team of behavior aides and professionals.
• Develop, plan, and provide professional development through modeling, coaching, and instruction.
• Conduct orientations and training for paraeducators on ABA principles and best practices.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with ABA practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by BEAM administration.
