Job summary

Othello School District is seeking a collaborative, student-centered Board Certified Behavior Analyst to support students, families, and school teams across the district. The BCBA will provide behavior consultation, assessment, intervention planning, staff coaching, and professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavior analysis, education, psychology, special education, or related field.
• Current BCBA certification and WA Licensure or ability to obtain before starting.
• Experience with Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis, data collection, and intervention fidelity.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with students, families, educators, and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and help develop Behavior Intervention Plans.
• Collect and interpret behavior data to guide decisions and update IEP/MTSS goals.
• Provide staff coaching, professional development, and modeling of supports.
• Support IEP teams and participate in meetings related to behavior goals.
• Collaborate with families and outside providers to ensure consistency across environments.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with district, state, and federal requirements.
