Job summary

Portland Public Schools seeks a qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our district-wide team. This full-time role reports to the Director of Specialized Programs and focuses on behavioral services, staff supervision, and professional development across schools.

The successful candidate will support students with diverse needs, lead staff training, and ensure accurate IEP documentation while integrating evidence-based practices into classrooms.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education, behavior intervention, or related field.
• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification.
• Experience with district-wide behavioral programs and IEPs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with district programs for students with low-incidence or behavioral needs to integrate evidence-based practices.
• Provide behavioral coaching and modeling for district programs.
• Support functional behavior assessments and development of positive support plans.
• Collaborate with staff to meet behavioral needs and ensure IEP documentation accuracy.
• Lead professional development in behavioral interventions for staff.
