Job summary

Urbana School District #116 is seeking an Educational Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavioral consultation and coaching across district programs. The BCBA will support teams in implementing ABA-based interventions to meet the individual needs of students, with a focus on improving academic and social outcomes.

The role involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, leading staff trainings, attending IEP meetings, and ensuring high fidelity in Behavior Intervention

Qualifications

• Illinois Educator License with eligible endorsements (LBS1, School Psychology, Social Work, or School Counseling).
• Current BCBA certification is required for this role.
• Willingness to pursue Therapeutic Crisis Intervention certification and maintain licensure as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collect, graph and analyze student data from FBA and write reports.
• Lead FBA and BIP development with fidelity across school teams.
• Attend IEP meetings and provide feedback on assessment results and goals.
• Provide training and ongoing modeling for program staff on ABA-based strategies.
• Collaborate with district leadership to review assessment data and improve outcomes.
• Support crisis intervention training and supervise RBT staff as needed.
