Job summary

Rocketship Public Schools is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students with emotional and behavioral needs across multiple San Jose area sites. The role emphasizes coaching, collaboration with school staff, and development of Behavior Intervention Plans within MTSS and IEP teams.

The BCBA will lead training, monitor progress, and ensure fidelity of evidence-based interventions, while partnering with psychologists, counselors, and administrators to drive inclusive

Qualifications

BCBA certification required.
At least 1 year of school-based behavior assessment experience.
Commitment to Rocketship’s special education inclusion model.
Possession of a valid California driver’s license and transportation for site visits.

Responsibilities

Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments with documentation in student files.
Collaborate on creation of Behavior Intervention Plans with the IEP team.
Design informal behavior plans with school personnel.
Provide coaching on behavior interventions to teachers and staff.
Lead staff development on behavior strategies for diverse audiences.
Coordinate with NeST and MTSS teams to share best practices.
