Job summary

Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown, MA is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students with multiple disabilities in our Lower School program. You will conduct FBAs, develop BSPs, and train staff to implement behavior plans and collect data for progress reporting.

You will collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure safe and dignified student outcomes and participate in IEP planning and meetings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education, behavior analysis, or related field.
• BCBA certification in good standing as verified through BACB.
• Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) in the state of Massachusetts.
• Ability to complete and maintain Safety-Care trainer certification.
• Previous experience working with students with multiple disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs to identify function of interfering or unsafe behaviors.
• Develop BSPs that include evidence-based interventions.
• Collect and analyze student behavior data to monitor progress and adjust BSPs.
• Write IEP goals and report IEP data in progress reports and meetings.
• Train staff on behavioral principles, data collection, and BSP implementation.
• Collaborate with school teams to ensure consistent support for students.
• Supervise RBTs and practicum students as needed.

Education
