Job summary

Parson's Pre School is looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavioral assessment and intervention services. The successful candidate will collaborate with educators and families to develop individualized behavior support plans for children with disabilities.

This role requires a Master's degree in a related field and certification as a BCBA. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, coaching school staff, and supporting multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• New York State licensure, where applicable.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings.
• Strong knowledge of ABA methodologies and behavioral assessment techniques.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, organizational, and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Analyze behavioral data and design interventions for diverse learning needs.
• Provide coaching and consultation to school staff on behavior management strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
• Monitor the effectiveness of behavioral interventions through ongoing data collection.
• Participate in CSE meetings and contribute to IEPs.
• Support crisis prevention and intervention strategies.
• Engage families with education and resources.
