Job summary

ESC of Eastern Ohio in Canfield, Ohio is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavior analysis services and intervention plans for students with behavioral challenges. The BCBA will participate in program development, professional development for ESCEO and district staff, and data-driven decision making.

The position supports multi-tiered systems of support, conducts functional assessments, and collaborates with district teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in special education or related field is required.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
• Strong interpersonal and professional image are essential.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Google Workspace, and related software.

Responsibilities

• Supports MTSS and Positive Behavior Support teams in schools.
• Conducts Functional Behavior Assessments for students with behavior concerns.
• Contributes to written evaluation reports and informs behavior plans.
• Communicates results to educational teams, parents, and agencies.
• Collaborates with district teams to develop BCBA programming as needed.
• Creates data collection systems to monitor baseline and program efficacy.
• Contacts ESCEO and district staff/parents on behavior matters.
• Completes Medicaid billing, SDE, and workload documentation accurately.
• Participates in meetings to improve skills and share resources.
• Keeps BCBA knowledge current with literature and CE opportunities.
• Performs other duties assigned by the Superintendent.
