Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Behavior Consultant/BCBA in Nassau County, NY. The position may be Part-Time (FFS) or Full-time, with compensation ranging from $40 to $75 per hour or $58,500 to $75,000 annually.

The role involves collaboration with school teams, direct behavioral assessment like FBAs, development of BIPs, data-driven decision making, and ongoing staff coaching. Benefits are offered for Full-Time positions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA, Special Education, Psychology, Educational/Health/Human Services.
• NYS BCBA/BCABA Certification and/or LBA required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience supporting children and families.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with school staff and families to develop individualized behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and collaborate with teams to identify functions of behavior.
• Design, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to inform interventions.
• Develop classroom-based behavioral supports promoting independence and engagement.
• Provide coaching and feedback to classroom staff on implementation of strategies.
• Collaborate with IEP teams to align behavioral programming with goals.
• Participate in CSE meetings to present progress and recommendations.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA/FERPA.
• Travel between assigned districts to provide on-site support.
• Develop and deliver professional development on behavior management.
