Specialized Education Services, Inc. is seeking a school-based behavior analyst role to collaborate with teachers, deliver individualized services in small groups, and monitor progress using a proven ABA model.

You will observe, assess, and report on student behavior, develop intervention plans, and help create classroom materials. The position offers opportunities for RBT/BCBA supervision and family engagement initiatives.

Qualifikationen

• Must be enrolled in or graduate from an ABA program and eligible to sit for the BCBA exam
• Experience with children and adolescents in a school setting preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Aufgaben

• Provide behavior training and consultation to school personnel
• Facilitate family engagement (general training, newsletters, access to external supports)
• Collaborate with external partners and providers to support students, families and staff
• Observe students, analyze data, and conduct assessments (e.g., ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, PEAK) to increase student success
• Write ABA notes and recommendations and an ABA report based on observations
• Create and model implementation of behavior programs/strategies in the school environment
• Help create materials (visual schedules, token boards, social stories) for the educational team
• Facilitate data collection with educational teams to monitor student progress
• Collaborate to develop behavior intervention plans for students with behavioral concerns
• Review and analyze data and provide follow-up consultation and modifications
• Identify and assess behavioral difficulties affecting attendance and academics
• Participate in team meetings and IEP conferences
• Present ABA and behavior modification techniques to the educational team
• Opportunity for RBT, BCBA, BCBA Trainees supervision
