Responsibilities

• Coordinate with food service staff to bake items on time for meal service and satellite deliveries.
• Review production records, select recipes, and secure ingredients and equipment for baking.
• Weigh and mix ingredients following standardized recipes for daily/weekly production and adjust yields.
• Prepare doughs and bake bread, rolls, biscuits, muffins, pizza crusts and other baked goods.
• Set up serving counters, serve students/staff, and replenish items as needed.
• Assist in training and supervising cafeteria helpers and satellite site operations.
• Maintain clean, sanitary work areas and sanitize utensils and equipment after use.
• Label, store, and manage leftovers; document production and assist with inventory.
