Responsibilities

• Coordinates and works with food service staff to bake goods to meet meal service times.
• Reviews production records, determines recipes, secures ingredients and equipment.
• Weights/measures ingredients per recipes; adjusts yield for production needs.
• Prepares mixes and bakes bread, rolls, buns, biscuits, muffins, and other baked goods.
• Sets up serving counters and assists in serving meals; replenishes items as needed.
• Directs helpers; trains new staff; may supervise satellite school operations.
• Attends staff meetings and required USDA training hours.
