Job summary

Wonderspring is seeking a Group Supervisor for its Colonial School-age program in the Colonial School District. You will help lead day-to-day operations during the school year and summer, ensuring a safe, engaging environment for children.

Responsibilities include coordinating lesson plans, communicating with families about children’s growth, and collaborating with district staff to support programming. You will mentor staff with the Site Supervisor and Center Director and assist with enrollment.

Qualifications

• AA in Education is required; BA/BS in Education preferred.
• Two years’ experience with children.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication with families and school district personnel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement lesson plans based on developmentally appropriate practices.
• Ensure effective communication with families regarding children’s development through observations and conferences.
• Collaborate with school district personnel to support programming.
• Orient, supervise and mentor staff with the Site Supervisor and Center Director.
• Facilitate family intake and enrollment process.
