Stepping Stones Childrens Center in Wexford, PA is seeking a Group Supervisor for School Age Programs. The role involves planning daily activities, supervising children, and coordinating with staff to ensure a high-quality learning environment.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, with regular hours and a starting pay of $18.00 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and education funds, with bonus opportunities after probation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ECE/related field or Human Services with 30 ECE credits and 1250 hours experience
• Associate degree with 30 ECE credits and 3750 hours experience
• Alternative credentials accepted per the minimum qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily program activities
• Ensure monthly observations are recorded for each child
• Complete DRDP assessments twice per academic year
• Develop daily lesson plans and submit weekly
• Coordinate activities with Assistant Group Supervisor for learning opportunities
• Plan and facilitate free play and structured learning activities
• Communicate daily via notes, email, or portal about children’s activities and wellbeing
• Maintain a healthy classroom environment and safety standards
• Attend monthly staff meetings and 12 hours of training annually
