Job summary

Old Colony YMCA in Middleboro, MA is seeking an Assistant Group Leader to help supervise a youth program and maintain a safe, constructive environment for children. The role supports the mission of the organization and reinforces core character traits in all duties.

The position requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR/First Aid certifications, a recent physical exam, and the ability to handle lifting up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16
• High School diploma or equivalent
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required
• Physical exam within last 12 months
• Measles, mumps and rubella immunity
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and frequent 40 lbs (children)
• Occasional early mornings, late nights and weekends
• Strong oral communication for public speaking
