Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our Before and After School Programs at Frelinghuysen Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year.

The role offers part-time, non-exempt work with programs in the morning and/or afternoon, following the school calendar. Responsibilities include facilitating activities, ensuring safety, and supporting student growth while promoting a positive learning environment.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma and/or 1 year of childcare experience preferred but not required.
• Must successfully pass state background checks.
• Must meet physical demands including bending, stretching, lifting up to 50 pounds and actively engaging with energetic children.

• Facilitating hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
• Providing a safe, healthy, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observing state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Certain positions may also perform management functions such as accurate attendance records, registration, and staffing.
