Catalyst Family Inc. is seeking an Associate Teacher to join our Sacramento center.

You will create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum, support social-emotional learning, and supervise children from infant to school age as appropriate for the location. You will maintain enriched classrooms, provide culturally responsive care, collaborate with colleagues, and communicate with families to foster a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience communicating with children and families; ability to maintain orderly classrooms.
• Ability to organize lesson plans, portfolios, and documentation.
• Willingness to work with a diverse team and adapt to center needs.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum connected to children’s interests.
• Create, implement, and maintain enriched, age-appropriate learning environments.
• Provide excellent customer service by building authentic, culturally responsive relationships with children, families, schools, and center staff.
• Keep children healthy and safe through supervision, positive interactions, healthy habits, and safety compliance.
