Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Scheduling Specialist to join our team in Utah. You will answer phones, manage faxes, and schedule patient appointments, ensuring accurate information and a positive patient experience.

This full-time role operates Monday–Thursday 11:00am–7:00pm and Saturday 8:00am–4:00pm. Strong communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to handle high call volumes are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Microsoft Office Suite experience.
• Proficient with using computer systems and typing.
• Able to handle multi-level phone system with a high volume of calls.

Responsibilities

• Answers phones and handles calls in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintains positive interactions with patients, referring offices and team members.
• Schedules patient examinations according to company policy.
• Ensures all personal, financial and insurance information is obtained and recorded accurately.
• Ensures patient data is entered into information systems completely and accurately.
• Informs patients of financial responsibilities and preparation requirements.
• Communicates scheduling changes to technologists to ensure patient satisfaction.
• Maintains an up-to-date database on referring physicians.
• Handles overflow calls for other centers to ensure uninterrupted exam scheduling.
• Provides back up coverage for front office team members as requested.
