Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Scheduling Specialist to join our team. This full-time role supports patients and referring professionals by answering calls, handling faxes, and scheduling appointments. Hours are Monday-Thursday 11:30am-8:00pm and Friday 10:30am-7:00pm, with weekend rotation.

Responsibilities include verifying insurance, collecting information, and providing back-up coverage for front office staff as needed. DailyPay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and typing.
• Experience handling high-volume calls with a multi-line phone system.
• Preferred: 1 year of customer service, medical terminology, and bilingual abilities.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule patient examinations according to policy.
• Record accurate personal, financial and insurance information.
• Enter patient data into information systems completely and accurately.
• Notify technologists of scheduling changes to ensure patient satisfaction.
• Maintain an up-to-date referral physician database.
