RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Scheduling Specialist to join our team. This temporary/per diem role involves answering phones, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with patients and referring offices to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficient typing and strong computer skills.
• Able to handle multi-level phone system with high call volume.

Responsibilities

• Answers phones and handles calls in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintains positive interactions with patients and referring offices.
• Schedules patient examinations according to policy.
• Obtains and records accurate personal, financial and insurance information.
• Enters patient data into information systems accurately.
• Informs patients of financial responsibilities and appointment prep.
• Communicates scheduling changes to technologists for patient satisfaction.
• Maintains an up-to-date referring physician database.
• Handles overflow calls for other centers to ensure scheduling.
• Provides backup coverage for front office as requested.
• Fields 1-800 number calls and routes accordingly.
