Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Scheduling Specialist to support patients and referring professionals by answering phones, managing faxes, and scheduling appointments. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm, with no weekends.

Responsibilities include data entry, verifying insurance, and communicating preparation needs. Required: High school diploma and proficiency with Microsoft Office; preferred experience in scheduling or medical office settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data entry.
• Ability to handle multi-line phone systems with high call volume.
• Experience in a clinical or scheduling environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and handle calls professionally and timely.
• Schedule patient examinations per policy and ensure accurate data.
• Obtain and record personal, financial and insurance information.
• Inform patients of financial responsibilities and preparation requirements.
