Job summary

Chapa-De Indian Health is seeking a Scheduling Specialist to build and manage provider schedules for Medical and Behavioral Health teams, ensuring coverage for quality patient access.

The role emphasizes organization, anticipating needs, and creating structures to support both providers and patients we serve, with a focus on accurate schedules and proactive communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple schedules while following guidelines and procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Platform and ideally EMR systems.
• CDL, vehicle insurance and DMV report must be current and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and adjust daily provider schedules for Medical and Behavioral Health teams.
• Monitor scheduling metrics and proactively communicate capacity and coverage needs.
• Coordinate coverage for provider leave including locum providers and real-time adjustments.
• Maintain scheduling protocols, templates, and dashboards with accurate group visits and blocks.

Hourly Pay: $24.55-28.35

What You'll Do

• Create, manage, and adjust daily provider schedules for Medical and Behavioral Health teams in scheduling system.
• Monitor scheduling metrics and proactively communicate scheduling capacity, supply-demand variations, and coverage needs.
• Coordinate coverage for provider leave (PTO/CME), including scheduling locum providers and managing real-time sick call adjustments.
• Maintain scheduling protocols, templates, and dashboards while ensuring accuracy in group visits, meeting blocks, and provider availability.
• Serve as the key liaison between scheduling and operations to ensure alignment with staffing resources, public health trends, and patient access goals.
